RLB have fully trained mobile service technicians with 20 years of industry experience to support the systems and tools that we sell.

At RLB service is a critical component to our total proposition, developed to preserve your systems and tooling, keep them running efficiently and limit any production downtime caused by breakdowns. It’s our aim to bring the level of service in the industry to new heights through our committed after sales care team.

Servicing & Repairs


RLB’s friendly and professional Service Technicians will repair your systems and tools to the original manufacturer’s specifications using genuine parts. The repairs and servicing of your equipment can be performed either onsite or in our workshops.

We ensure that your systems and tooling program(s) are operating at the optimum efficiency and performance. From hand tools to semi/fully automatic machines we maintain an inventory of high wear parts to ensure quick repairs and turnaround.

We use a serial number for each tool or machine to track the repair history. By using our RLB tracking system we are able to monitor the cost of repair and parts by tool throughout its lifecycle. We offer a 30 day warranty on all repairs.

We’re one of New Zealand’s most preferred strapping and wrapping suppliers, offering customers everything they need including the leading brands, tools and equipment.

As a market leader we recognise that reliability is essential to our customer’s ability to deliver and that we have a responsibility to provide the highest level of after sales support.  For this reason we developed our RLB Care program to provide our customers with complete peace of mind.

RLB Care programs are preventative maintenance agreements designed to preserve and enhance the reliability of your tools and equipment. Our RLB Care program will help reduce your total costs of ownership through:

  • Reducing unscheduled downtime caused by breakdowns,
  • Improving the longevity and reliability of your tools and equipment,
  • Reducing capital and processing outlay in spare parts ordering and inventory  
RLB Care programs involve regular scheduled visits from our friendly and qualified service technicians who will complete the care program against the agreed preventative maintenance schedule. This includes - inspection, lubrication, parts assessment and any required adjustments or enhancements.

Our tailored RLB Care programs will take into account your geographical location, systems and tooling requirements, operating environment and usage. The frequency of the RLB Care program will be agreed subsequent to an initial assessment and are available:
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Six monthly
  • Annually

Rental Program


We appreciate that sometimes an ownership model doesn’t suit everyone. We offer customised plans for a range of systems and tooling to suit our customer’s needs.

Short Term Rentals

Offer the flexibility to temporarily rent tools and machinery to keep at pace with your production or business demands or act as a substitute whilst your existing tooling or equipment is serviced or repaired

Long Term Rentals

Remove the need for upfront capital investment through our long term rental plans. All rental equipment is maintained by our service technicians. We also offer the ability to return, renew or buy equipment at the end of the lease. 
 

Training


As a market leader and industry specialists we also offer operator training and preventative maintenance guidance.

This includes a mixture of product and skills training where we can also engage the support of our key suppliers. We typically use a train the trainer methodology to ensure that the information is correctly cascaded through your organisation and operators. We also support ongoing training through regular site reviews and the dissemination of training materials.
