Steel strapping suits most heavy duty industrial purposes, where high strength and minimal stretch are required. We offer 2 types of steel strapping; ribbon wound or rope wound. These terms are used to describe how the strapping is wound onto the coil.

Ribbon wound is when each layer is wound directly over top of one another. Therefore the width of the strapping is the width of the coil, and coils come flat.

Rope wound is when the strapping is oscillated uniformly and tightly across the width of the coil. Therefore the width of the strapping is smaller than the width of the coil.

  • Suitable for strapping heavy loads e.g. timber and steel
  • Edges have been smoothed and rounded to make handling safer.
