RLB Packaging Launches PELITEK™

Now, RLB Packaging aim is to focus our expertise in pallet wrap containment through the PELITEK™ business, providing clients with pallet wrap that will cover the needs of every product in every industry.

PELITEK™ offers three major pallet-wrap product ranges:

• FUTURETEK™: A tougher, thinner film that covers more with less and boasts a lower impact on the environment.
• GOTEK™: A film made to transport heavier loads with its superior elasticity.
• UTEK™: A product that allows clients to customise colours, sizes and additives of the wrap for unique applications.

PELITEK™ also offers an extensive range of Robopac pallet wrapping machines. Robopac is the world’s largest secondary packaging equipment company. A variety of machine options are available that can operate at different speeds and levels, allowing clients to stretch and wrap according to their needs and specifications.

To keep these machines running at optimal capacity, PELITEK™ has a dedicated in-house team of service technicians who focus on training end users, maintenance and repairs. Our team also offers a free ‘Wrap Review’ service where we assess your current set-up and suggest ways to optimise your wrapping and machines. This helps our clients save on plastic – which is good for the environment – and money – which is good for business.

One client who has taken up the offer of a Wrap Review service was The Apple Press from Apollo Foods. They wanted to reduce the plastic waste generated by wrapping their pallets of apple juice. Our PELITEK™ team conducted a thorough inspection of their methods and recommended using the lighter-gauge FUTURETEK™ stretch film. This allowed Apple Press to reduce their annual plastic film waste by 1 tonne and reduce film costs by $7,500.
